Details
Marble Arch Energy Network (MAEN) is a proposed fifth-generation energy network in the Marble Arch area, currently bounded by Oxford Street to the south and Edgware Road to the West. It will provide heating and cooling to commercial and residential properties. MAEN aims to be operational by 2028.
The project will procure a delivery partner to work alongside the project sponsor, The Portman Estate, to deliver the project. On 25 March, we will run a pre-market engagement webinar, which gives attendees an opportunity to receive a briefing on the project, the GHNF application and the proposed procurement process. Those unable to attend may request a recording of the webinar. A short briefing document will be issued following the webinar with an opportunity to provide feedback in response within 1 week.
A further in-person event may be held in mid-April that will include a site visit. It is currently intended that the procurement process may be launched during this event, with a procurement timetable confirmed in advance. Confirmation as to when this event will be scheduled will be provided as soon as possible following the webinar.
